Cone-Head® 580

The market spoke: we listened. Many fuelwood
producers and loggers found that much of their material was by-product
of a flail debarker or a delimber, basically "straw." To feed it
effectively, they needed an infeed that would handle large volumes of
loose bulky material. With that information in hand, and realizing
that productivity and price were critical, we set to work. The
result is the Model 580
Cone-Head®.
To feed the slash, we added a 10' long x 8' wide infeed conveyor with
(2) strands of WD/102 drag type conveyor chain, and (2) powerful
vertical feedwheels (32" long x 14" diameter) at the infeed throat.
Standard built with 365 H.P. Cummins Q Series Tier III engine, three
axles, radio remote control, and other features to assure maximum
profitability. Handles 22" diameter whole trees as well.
