Chip to the sound of a different drum! The first real chipping drum advance in 3 decades. The Dynamic rugged and powerful CH585 whole tree chipper has a distinct mechanical advantage so good you can actually hear the difference!

• The Dynamic CH585 is built for full shifts day after day, whether limbs & tops, roundwood, or full tree. Even flail debarker discharge. ConeHead slicing action outperforms conventional flat-faced drums, especially in stringy and small branch feeds. And slicing makes less noise and vibration – you can hear it!
• Maintenance time is important, that’s why the 585 has fast change belly pans. Bumper bar protect the end feed chain shaft and the feed chain is aggressive, driven by very heavy sprockets on a heavy drive shaft. The feedbed pan is easily replaced as are wear panels in the drum and discharge.
• A large top feedwheel and two (2) side (vertical) feedwheels direct limby stems to the cone drum, even hardwood. Feedwheel carbon steel edges old their edge, and can be touched up with a grinder to restore sharpness and like-new feeding.
• The CH585 story includes ConeHead’s outstanding discharge throw for long trailers, and very consistent chip size and quality that pleases chip buyers, especially new bio-energy / biomass plants.
• When the economics of your business includes higher pay for lower moisture chips, Dynamic’s cone drum is productive in dry material because of its slicing action, and keeps you running because knives stay sharp longer, by slicing and not slamming into the material. And slicing uses less energy, making more chips per fuel gallon - especially important if (or when) extra high fuel prices return.
