Built in the mold of the 580, the new Model 585
Cone-Head®
fuelwood chipper is specifically designed for processing high volumes of
delimber slash and flail debarker "straw." We've extended the bed
chain under and beyond the top feedwheel all the way to the drum.
This allows the (2) vertical side feedwheels to better move product into
the machine. Another quick response to market demands, it is
proving to be a very effective and productive addition to our line-up of
"Ultimate Fuelwood Chippers."
Like the 580, the Model 585 will chip 22" diameter whole trees as well.
Standard build includes: 365 H.P. Cummins Q Series Tier III
engine, (3) hydraulic driven feedwheels, three axles, 10' long x 8' wide
infeed bed with WD/102 drag type conveyor chain, radio remote control,
and other features to assure maximum profitability.
